The conference brought together experts from across Europe to share knowledge and best practices in disaster preparedness and response – addressing both natural and human-made threats. A key area of focus was preparedness for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) incidents.

- improving the interoperability of early warning systems,
- advancing detection and monitoring technologies,
- strengthening cooperation between research institutions and first responders.
During the event, the Biohazard Prevention Centre also had the opportunity to present and promote its latest research project – UNICOPS, which contributes to building greater resilience against crisis threats across Europe.
