On January 13th, 2026, a study visits focused on CBRNe security took place at:
鈼伙笍 Intxaurrondo station,
鈼伙笍 Amara station command centre,
鈼伙笍 Benta Berri.
During the visit, the team:
- carried out interviews with personnel responsible for train traffic management and station infrastructure security
- carried out an on-site inspection of station facilities critical to security, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of procedures and potential vulnerabilities.
This activity forms a key component of the project鈥檚 research phase aimed at identifying existing gaps as well as good practices related to ensuring the security of densely populated areas in the railway transport environment.
