We are pleased to announce that on January 2, 2026 the head of our Centre - prof. Michał Bijak has been reappointed by the Minister of National Defense (MDF) as a member of the Scientific Council of the Military Institute of Chemistry and Radiometry.

The Scientific Council is primarily responsible for the direction and quality of the Institute's scientific and research activities, for reviewing key personnel and organizational decisions, as well as for adopting the statutes and reviewing the Institute's most important plans and reports.

The Institute conducts research and development work in the field of equipment and means of defense against weapons of mass destruction, environmental protection, and chemical disarmament control. The Institute also tests contamination protection equipment and conducts training in protection against weapons of mass destruction.
