The conference focused on security aspects of mass events and crisis engineering. The first day addressed scientific and theoretical issues, including contemporary threats, legal and regulatory responses, and crowd behavior. The second day provided an opportunity for experts responsible for ensuring the safety of Poland’s largest mass events to exchange knowledge and practical experience. Together, both days offered a comprehensive perspective on the complex challenges related to mass event safety.
The conference themes closely align with the projects carried out by the our center, which focus on enhancing security in public spaces such as sports venues, universities, places of worship or railway stations.
Our Centre was represented by Karolina Tomczyk and Wojciech Zajaczkowski.
