On September 22, at the invitation of the Deputy Commander of Rescue and Firefighting Unit No. 4 in 艁贸d藕, a specialized training session on the biological sciences was held in Spa艂a, led by Ph.D. Natalia Cicho艅 from the Biohazard Prevention Centre.

The purpose of the training was to expand the knowledge and practical skills of firefighters who respond daily to situations involving various types of threats, including CBRNe threats.

In this part, the meeting focused on a practical approach to material of unknown nature - from collecting a sample and performing a rapid test, through interpreting the results, to assessing the situation and deciding on the next steps. The discussion of real-life scenarios, as well as the possibilities and limitations of diagnostics conducted in the field, also provided an opportunity to compare the biological perspective with the practical aspects of rescue operations.

The training provided an opportunity for the academic community and emergency response professionals to exchange knowledge and experiences.
