My scientific and research activities are associated with Linguistics, specially discourse analysis (the language of politics, medicine, media and advertising), rhetoric, pragmatics and language for specific purposes.

I teach French linguistics, Translation Studies in Italian (applied linguistics: medicine, arts, tourism, gastronomy) and seminar course in applied linguistics (the languages of the French media)

Member of the Council of the Faculty of Philology and the Council of the Institute.

Vice-editor-in chief of the journal Acta Universitatis Lodziensis, Folia Litteraria Romanica

and editor of the journal e-Scripta Romanica.

鈥� Overseeing the research, teaching and organisational activities of the department鈥檚 staff

Responsibilities:

鈥� Finance (allocation and expenditure of funds)

鈥� Management of the Institute鈥檚 assets

鈥� Human resources matters (recommendations regarding recruitment, dismissals, and departmental restructuring)

鈥� Participation in the Faculty Finance and Human Resources Committee

鈥� Academic matters (monitoring of evaluation surveys)

鈥� Monitoring staff research activities (through the review of reports prepared by department heads)

鈥� Representing the Institute

鈥� Convening and chairing RI meetings

鈥� Submitting proposals to the Dean or the Academic Council

鈥� Supervising the process of classroom observations conducted by department heads

鈥� Overseeing the promotion of the unit, the activities of promotion officers and the administrators of the Institute鈥檚 social media channels

鈥� Overseeing the documentation relating to teaching and the quality of education maintained by the Deputy Director

鈥� Monitoring staff workloads drawn up by a team of department heads coordinated by the Deputy Director
