Scope of Duties in the Area of Teaching Responsibilities
Conducting teaching activities carried out within the workload specified annually by the Senate, in full鈥憈ime, part鈥憈ime and postgraduate programmes, including the delivery of courses using distance learning methods and technologies.
Timely preparation of all documentation required of academic teachers concerning the course of study.
Participation in the development and regular updating of curricula and teaching schedules.
Administering examinations and course assessments, including final (diploma) examinations.
Supervising students鈥 coursework and semester assignments.
Supervising and reviewing diploma theses.
Reviewing scholarly works, in particular those related to the academic development of other researchers.
Training early鈥慶areer researchers and supervising their academic development.
Preparing teaching materials for courses delivered.
Providing student consultations of no less than 2 hours per week, with an additional 2 hours during designated weekend sessions in the case of part鈥憈ime studies.
Enhancing one鈥檚 own professional qualifications in areas related to the conducted teaching activities.
Ensuring high quality of education and compliance of teaching activities with the internal quality assurance system.
Performing other teaching duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Scope of Duties in the Area of Research Responsibilities
Conducting and participating in scientific research and development projects.
Acquiring research funding by submitting applications to competitive calls.
Disseminating research or development results through publications, primarily in journals listed in the national ministerial journal ranking and in monographs published by publishers included in the ministerial list (Level I and II).
Active participation in scientific conferences and seminars in accordance with university regulations.
Participation in the commercialisation of research results (patents, protection rights, implementations).
Developing one鈥檚 professional qualifications, including in pursuit of subsequent academic degrees and the academic title.
Performing other research-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Scope of Duties in the Area of Organizational Responsibilities
Serving on collegial bodies of the university and on faculty, senate, and rector鈥檚 committees.
Participating in competition, recruitment and examination committees, including those involved in student admissions and admissions to the Doctoral School.
Organising and participating in promotional and representational activities of the university.
Organising conferences, symposia, seminars and other forms of academic engagement.
Performing functions assigned by supervisors, including: year tutor or group tutor responsibilities, supervision of student research clubs and academic camps, supervision of student internships, etc.
Undertaking other organisational activities aimed at improving the functioning of the university and enhancing the quality of teaching and research.
