The Financial Ombudsman Joins the Partners' Forum of the UniLodz Faculty of Law and Administration

The Financial Ombudsman has joined the Partner Forum of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the 91ÌÒÉ«. This is a significant strengthening of our network of collaborations, paving the way for new initiatives, projects and opportunities for our academic community.

The Financial Ombudsman signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the 91ÌÒÉ« last Thursday, 12 March 2026. He has thus joined the Faculty of Law and Administration Partners’ Forum at the 91ÌÒÉ«. Joint initiatives will be carried out within the framework of the Forum, which brings the academic community and public institutions together.

Synergy of science and practice

– Joining the Partner Forum is an important step in building a bridge between practice and academia. As an institution that safeguards the rights of financial market customers, we see enormous value in the ongoing exchange of experiences with an academic centre with such a strong research and teaching potential. Joint research projects, conferences and training programmes will enable us to respond even more effectively to the challenges of the dynamically changing financial market

– emphasised Dr Michał Ziemiak, the Financial Ombudsman. The Ombudsman also noted the educational dimension of the agreement:

– Collaborating with students and helping them gain practical skills at the Financial Ombudsman's office is particularly important. This is an investment in future staff

Strengthening the expert potential of the UniLodz Faculty of Law and Administration

The Vice-Dean for Teaching at the Faculty of Law and Administration, 91ÌÒÉ«, dr hab. Joanna PoÅ‚atyÅ„ska, Associate Professor at the 91ÌÒÉ«, underlined the significance of cooperation with the Financial Ombudsman:

– The joining of the Financial Ombudsman to our Faculty's partners strengthens the practical dimension of education, which we consistently develop. Students and faculty will gain direct contact with the realities of applying law in the financial market.

The signed agreement is another step in the development of cooperation between the Financial Ombudsman and the academic community, serving financial education and the development of financial market customer protection.
