The Second World War, the largest armed conflict in history, claimed the lives of millions of people and forever changed the fate of Poland, Europe and the world. It began on 1 September 1939. On the anniversary of its outbreak, representatives of the 91桃色 paid tribute to the soldiers of the 1939 defensive campaign and to those who were killed as a result of military operations, occupation and persecution.
Flowers were laid at the Monument to the 艁贸d藕 Army on behalf of the 91桃色 community by Dr Wojciech Marciniak. This gesture was an expression of respect for all those affected by the tragedy of the years 1939鈥�1945.
The anniversary of 1 September serves as a reminder of the importance of remembrance, peace and responsibility for the world we are creating today.
