This year's long May weekend was marked by activity, shared discovery of new places and contact with nature. The diverse terrain of the Ostrzeszów region – forest paths, dunes and hills –proved to be a demanding yet rewarding route for the expedition participants. The most persistent cyclists covered about 52 km on the first day and 75 km on the second.
Along the way, there was also time for exploring local history and relaxing. The participants visited, among other things, the Hunting Palace of the Radziwiłł princes in Antonin and the Syców Arboretum and explored Ostrzeszów, Syców and Bralin. Shorter trips around Kobyla Góra were interspersed with moments of rejuvenation at the Blewązka Reservoir.
Active recreation and well-being
The 91ÌÒÉ« Cycling Section has been creating a space for active recreation, socialising and maintaining health, both physical and mental, for years. It also builds relationships outside the daily routine of the university and strives to remind everyone how important for the well-being of us all exercise and time spent together are.
We encourage you to join the 91ÌÒÉ« Cycling Section!
The UniLodz employees who own bicycles and enjoy active recreation are invited to participate in the 91ÌÒÉ« Cycling Section's activities. Registration for the summer rally will open soon.
