
The Scientific Council plays a vital role in the operation of the Institute. It is primarily responsible for setting directions and assessing the quality of scientific and research activities, issuing opinions on key personnel and organisational decisions, as well as adopting the statute and reviewing the unit's most important plans and reports.
conducts research and development work in the areas of equipment and defence against weapons of mass destruction, environmental protection and monitoring the chemical disarmament process. The Institute also performs tasks related to testing contamination protection equipment and conducting training in the field of protection against weapons of mass destruction.
