Register for the Higher Education Good Practice Symposium (Ireland)

Our UNIC Alliance partner, University College Cork (Ireland), encourages you to contribute to the Good Practice Symposium 2026 (19 May 2026), an international, biennial event dedicated to good practice in higher education. The symposium initiatives, projects and approaches which make a meaningful difference across higher education institutions and their wider communities. The 2026 Symposium is thematically focused on Belonging. The deadline for submissions is the 17 April 2026.

Good practices as inspiration

The goal of the event is not so much to identify universal models of "good practices" but to share experiences embedded in specific contexts that can inspire reflection, adaptation and cooperation between institutions.

Symposium theme – sense of belonging, inclusion

The 2026 Symposium is thematically focused on Belonging – how institutions cultivate inclusive environments where students, employees and those cooperating with universities feel welcomed, valued, respected and able to fully participate and thrive.

UNIC for inclusion

This theme aligns closely with the shared values of the UNIC European University Alliance and its commitment to inclusive, people-centred and socially engaged universities. Exactly like UniLodz.

Submissions should be in a A1 portrait poster size (59.4x84.1 cm) and uploaded through .
