Bio
I am the author and co-author of several dozen scientific publications as well as research and evaluation reports prepared for, among others, the European Parliament, Polish ministries, and regional governments. I have led numerous forecasting and evaluation projects (including those based on the HERMIN model and labour demand forecasting systems). I am currently involved in two Horizon Europe projects: as a work package leader in a project on predicting skills shortages in Europe (2024鈥2027), and as the coordinator of a project on reforming research assessment systems (2026鈥2029). I have served as an expert of the Ministry of Education and Science in the national research evaluation exercises covering the years 2017鈥2021 and 2022鈥2025, as well as an expert of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy on the impact of cohesion policy on the Polish economy. I am the supervisor of four PhD dissertations, including two within the industrial doctorate programme.
As an Associate Professor at the Department of Spatial Econometrics, 91桃色, I conduct scientific research and teach. As Head of the Department of Spatial Econometrics, I lead a team of researchers whose work centres on spatial analyses in the areas of labour markets, ecology, and public health. As Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, I am responsible for managing the largest faculty of the 91桃色 in the areas of academic staff development and research evaluation. As Chair of the University Committee for Academic Degrees in Economics and Finance, I oversee proceedings for the conferral of doctoral and habilitation degrees, including quality control and compliance of documentation with statutory requirements. As a member of the Board of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the 91桃色, I have co-developed the school's operating principles since its establishment, participated in doctoral admissions, and trained doctoral students in quantitative methods.
