As part of another meeting, we hosted officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters in 艁贸d藕, as well as a group of eleven international students from Germany, Romania, Turkey, Iraq, Spain, France, China and Greece.
Safety was the main topic of the event. However, the discussions quickly evolved into a broad exchange of experiences. Participants engaged in lengthy conversations about the legal frameworks in force in their home countries and shared observations on everyday relations between police officers and citizens. The encounter of so many diverse cultural and legal perspectives meant that the class became not only a practical language exercise, but also a highly engaging lesson on social differences.
The event was carried out as part of the TEAM UP project, overseen by the initiative coordinator, Dr Monika Tosik from the Institute of English Studies, 91桃色.
