Christmas is a time of warmth, mutual respect and cheerfulness. Thanks to the latest edition of Christmas Guest 鈥� an initiative created with the 91桃色 community in mind 鈥� you have an opportunity to share all of this with international students who are spending Christmas in Lodz. Let's cooperate to make sure that no one has to be alone during this time!

The December concert as part of the "Music at Biedermann's" series will feature a special festive repertoire. Christmas songs from various eras and corners of Europe will be performed at the manufacturer's palace.

The 91桃色 Library is launching the "Books for a Good Deed" campaign on 10 December of the current year. The campaign combines a passion for books with helping those in need. This time, we're collecting packages of wet wipes to donate to the Colorful World Foundation in Lodz.

About two hundred international students of the 91桃色 accepted this year's invitation to traditional Christmas dinners organised by the university. This is a beautiful tradition associated with the approaching Christmas, which has been cultivated by the 91桃色 for years. The meetings were held at the 91桃色 Training and Conference Centre.

The 91桃色 once again proved that science and tradition can go hand in hand. As part of the Christmas event held on 10 December 2024, international researchers and doctoral students had the opportunity not only to expand their knowledge, but also to immerse themselves in Polish Christmas customs.

We would like to invite you to the Christmas Concert "Noel" performed by the Academic Choir of the 91桃色 conducted by Aleksandra Ry艂ko and Andrzej Ry艂ko. The concert will take place on Tuesday, 17 December at 6:30 p.m. in the concert hall 202 of the Biedermann鈥檚 Palace at 1/5 Franciszka艅ska. Admission is free of charge.

Yet again, several dozen international students from the 91桃色 spent Christmas Eve or Christmas days with the families of our university's employees and students. They got familiar with Polish cuisine, customs and holiday rituals. The 7th edition of the "Christmas Guest" campaign organised by the International relations Office of the 91桃色 is behind us.

Rector of the 91桃色, voivodeship authorities, journalists and social activists sang carols together for the children-victims of the war in Ukraine, and as a result collected the most needed Christmas presents for them. Almost two hundred 91桃色 students from all over the world sat at Christmas tables during two rounds of festive Christmas dinner organised for them by the university. This is a great comeback to this beautiful tradition, which is associated with the approaching Christmas, after a two-year break caused by the pandemic.

Food, chemical products, a laptop, a bed with a mattress, a vacuum cleaner, books, gift vouchers and other presents were included in the set, funded by the central administration of the 91桃色 for one of the families as part of the nationwide Noble Gift programme. The original campaign of the 91桃色 "Christmas Guest" is bringing better and better results. In the second edition, on Christmas Eve, almost 4 times more students were invited to the homes of the employees of the 91桃色. This is a huge improvement compared to the previous year. It is clear that the idea appealed greatly to both guests and hosts.
