During the concert, which will be held on 16 April 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Biedermann鈥檚 Palace (ul. Franciszka艅ska 1/5), we will hear compositions by the master of classicism 鈥 two sonatas for four hands by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ignacy Jan Paderewski's "Tatra Album", inspired by the music of the Podhale region.
Micha艂 Rot is a graduate of the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz. He graduated with distinction in 2012 from the piano class of Prof. Cezary Sanecki. He also honed his skills in Stuttgart and Mannheim. The artist is a winner of numerous national and international music competitions. His most notable achievements include: a distinction in the W. K臋dra Chopin Competition in 艁贸d藕, second place and a special award for the best performance of a contemporary Polish piece in the 17th International K. Bacewicz Chamber Music Competition in 艁贸d藕, and the award for best pianist in the 18th International J. Brahms Competition in P枚rtschach.
Marcin Kawczy艅ski also graduated from the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz. He also studied piano chamber music at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. As a soloist, he has performed with the 艁贸d藕 Philharmonic Orchestra, the Legnica Symphony Orchestra and the Radom Chamber Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has performed with artists associated with the 艁贸d藕 musical community.
