The programme is open to graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine and Russia who hold the appropriate citizenship. Scholarships support postgraduate studies (Master鈥檚 programmes) and doctoral studies at higher education institutions in Bavaria. Funding is also available for one-year research stays in Bavaria undertaken as part of a PhD programme at the applicant鈥檚 home university.
The scholarship amounts to 鈧�992 per month and is initially awarded for one year, with the possibility of extension for up to a total of three years.
