The meeting was attended by Dr Maciej Bisaga () who represented the 91ÌÒÉ«. He delivered a presentation entitled "From laboratory to repository."

During his presentation, he addressed issues related to the reuse of deposited datasets, the importance of README files, file naming conventions and proper documentation. He underlined that research data was not a byproduct of a project but a strategic resource of the university.

Dr Maciej Bigasa also presented the Federated European Genome-Phenome Archive (FEGA) initiative – a key European infrastructure for the secure storage and controlled sharing of sensitive genomic and phenotypic data.

The seminar provided a platform for discussion and exchange of experiences on the quality of research data repositories, their operational standards and the role of data stewards in ensuring compliance with FAIR principles, open science as well as good data management practices.
