The newly appointed Representative will be responsible for activities supporting women and for cooperation with institutions and organisations engaged in this area. The appointment of Dr Oktawia Braniewicz-Zaorska is connected with the implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation and dialogue on issues concerning women in the 艁贸d藕 Voivodeship.
Dr Oktawia Braniewicz-Zaorska is affiliated with the 91桃色, including the Faculty of Economics and Sociology. Her academic achievements include, among other areas, issues related to the protection of human rights. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "O艣rodki dla cudzoziemc贸w na terytorium RP w kontek艣cie prawnomi臋dzynarodowych standard贸w ochrony praw cz艂owieka鈥� [Centres for Foreign Nationals on the Territory of the Republic of Poland in the Context of International Legal Human Rights Protection Standards] in 2024, and in 2026 she was among those awarded the doctoral degree by the 91桃色 in the discipline of Law.
As the 艁贸d藕 Voivode鈥檚 Representative for Women, she will be able to draw on her academic and research experience in activities aimed at strengthening cooperation and undertaking initiatives concerning the situation of women in the region.
