The “EkSoc startUP!” competition is an academic startup competition addressed to students and doctoral students of all higher education institutions in the Łóź Voivodeship. During the Gala, ten finalist student teams with startup ideas will present their business concepts to the Jury and the audience. These are concepts developed by teams of 2–5 students over several months, under the supervision of business practitioners – mentors and trainers providing valuable know-how. Like participants of the well-known TV show Dragon’s Den, the finalists will try to convince the Jury of their startup ideas as if they were addressing potential investors. They will face the challenge of time pressure (only 3 minutes for their pitch!), presenting in front of a large audience and answering additional questions from the Jury. Support from the audience will be very important for them. The winners of the competition will receive prizes that will help them further develop their business ideas after the competition. Information about the sponsors and substantive partners of the 6th edition is available on the competition website.
We particularly encourage members of the audience interested in entrepreneurship, startups and running their own business to take part in the Gala. Participation will allow you to see how to prepare a business idea presentation, how to handle questions from a potential investor (the Jury), and to take part in the audience vote for the best pitch. There will be no shortage of excitement!
Please register by 22 May:
