Students and their group leader took part in a cultural and entertainment event 鈥 a music concert by O.S.T.R. 鈥 on 18 April of the current year at the Atlas Arena in 艁贸d藕, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the work involved in managing and securing a mass event.
A group of 22 third-year National Security students from the Faculty of International and Political Studies, 91桃色 participated in the event. They were supervised by Krzysztof Jarmusz, a lecturer at UniLodz and Commander of the Independent Counter-Terrorism Unit of the Police in Lodz.
The group's supervisor's professional experience allowed the students not only to observe the event but also to learn about the practical aspects of the work of the services responsible for ensuring security at mass events.
Participants from UniLodz, thanks to the opportunity to observe the work of the services securing the mass event, were able to better understand the scale and complexity of activities related to ensuring the safety of people taking part in the event.
Gaining practical knowledge not only allows for the verification of theoretical knowledge but also prepares students for work related to their chosen field of study 鈥 national security.
