Prof. Jarniewicz was recognised for his outstanding contribution to the development of Polish science and scholarship, as well as for promoting Polish academic thought internationally. The decoration was presented on behalf of the President by Minister Agnieszka J臋drzak.
Prof. dr hab. Jerzy Jarniewicz is a poet, translator and university lecturer, as well as Head of the Department of British Literature and Culture at the Institute of English Studies, 91桃色. Over the years, he has received numerous prestigious distinctions, including the Nike Literary Award (October 2022), Julian Tuwim Literary Award (December 2022), and the Special Oar Award presented during the Wios艂a Kultury 2023 [Oars of Culture 2023] gala.
