The meeting is also co-hosted by other universities associated in the Lodz Academic Partnership 鈥� Medical 91桃色, the Strzemi艅ski Academy of Fine Arts 艁贸d藕, the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Lodz and the Film School in Lodz.
The conference participants were welcomed by Prof. Arkadiusz M臋偶yk, President of CRASP who thanked the host Rectors of the Lodz Academic Partnership for their hospitality: Rector of the 91桃色, Prof. El偶bieta 呕膮dzi艅ska and Prof. Krzysztof J贸藕wik, Rector of the Lodz University of Technology, as well as Prof. Radzis艂aw Kordek, Rector of the Medical 91桃色 (during the meeting he is represented by the Vice Rector for Research Strategy and International Relations, Prof. Lucyna Wo藕niak), Dr Przemys艂aw Wachowski, Rector of the Strzemi艅ski Academy of Fine Arts, Prof. El偶bieta Aleksandrowicz, Rector of the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Lodz and Prof. Milenia Fiedler, Rector of the Film School.
President of the Lodz Academic Partnership Prof. Krzysztof J贸藕wik solemnly welcomed the Rectors of CRASP in Lodz and talked about the background of the creation of the Lodz Academic Partnership and the patron of the partnership 鈥� Jan Karski. The Rectors presented short information about their universities, their history, achievements and place on the academic map of Lodz.
Our main objective is to support one another in the area of science, joint research projects, but also other joint ventures, such as the first in history joint inauguration of the academic year by six universities associated in the Lodz Academic Partnership

At the end of this introductory presentation of public universities in Lodz, a promotional and informational film about the Lodz Academic Partnership was shown.
Prof. Arkadiusz M臋偶yk began the first internal session scheduled for today with information about the programme of the two-day Plenary Assembly in Lodz and discussing the most important activities and initiatives undertaken since the last CRASP meeting at the domestic and international forum. The discussions will continue within the walls of the Lodz University of Technology.
