The official summary the "Talented at School, Brilliant at the University" programme will be held on 6 June from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Prof. WacÅ‚aw Szubert Assembly Hall of the 91ÌÒÉ«. We cordially invite all participants, teachers and academic supervisors!
The programme participants have the opportunity to work individually with scientists in a master-student formula – both during personal meetings and online. Thanks to this, they develop the ability to think creatively, plan research, draw conclusions and make responsible scientific decisions. Young researchers take part in classes and seminars conducted at the university, use laboratories and modern research tools, and also have access to the resources of the 91ÌÒÉ« Library.
The programme is interdisciplinary in nature, which allows each person to find their way in a wide range of scientific disciplines. The commitment of experienced scientific supervisors not only develops the knowledge of students but also inspires scientists who gain a fresh perspective from this cooperation. The most talented participants often get involved in the 91ÌÒÉ« Student Research Grants, join scientific groups, and then continue their education at doctoral schools.
For many young people, the programme is the first step into the academic world – they get to know the university atmosphere, participate in classes for students, and after starting their studies at the 91ÌÒÉ«, they can take advantage of the Individual Study Programme, research grants or attractive scientific scholarships.
Over 918 students from 79 schools from the region of Lodz have benefited from the programme so far.
