UniLodz Supports Young Talents. 30th Edition of F.E.T.A. Is Behind Us

The anniversary edition of the Festival of Expression of Amateur Creators (F.E.T.A.) took place with the 91桃色 as a partner. The reason is obvious 鈥 we share the same values: courage, openness and curiosity about the world. These are the very values that drive us to support young creators and organisers who passionately develop their talents each year. Last Friday, 27 March 2026 the High School No 26 in Lodz hosted the finale of the 30th edition of the Festival. Dr Rados艂aw Olszewski, the 91桃色 Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations, participated in the event. As usual, the jury also included representatives of the 91桃色: Agata Dawidowicz (theatre jury) and Dominik Nogala (photography and visual arts jury), who assessed the young artists' work.

This year's edition was held under the slogan "XXX spojrze艅 dalej" reflecting the review's anniversary. Dr Rados艂aw Olszewski, the 91桃色 Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations, congratulated the participants and organisers and emphasised the importance of cultivating passion and perseverance in creative endeavours:

It's incredibly important that you show what you're interested in, what you're passionate about and that you're not afraid to share it with the world. I encourage you not to lose track of what you're doing now, to develop and nurture your passions. (...) Always dedicate yourself to what you enjoy, what you consider important, because it deserves it.

Among the audience there were many guests representing the city's educational and cultural community, including the 艁贸d藕 Education Superintendent Janusz Brzozowski, representatives of the City of Lodz Office, cultural institutions as well as partners and sponsors of the festival.

F.E.T.A. 鈥 a space for young artists and organisers

The F.E.T.A festival has been held continuously since 1996 at the 26th K.K. Baczy艅ski High School no 26. Participants compete in seven categories: literature, theatre, music, visual art, photography, film, dance and spatial forms (a new category added in this year's edition). The festival is entirely self-directed by young people 鈥 from concept, through preparation, to the final gala, which is its unique features. This allows students to gain experience that goes far beyond the artistic sphere: they learn planning, design, communication, promotion and collaboration with institutions and external partners. They are responsible for the event documentation, the logistics of individual competitions, the setting of the final gala and organisational activities. These are practical skills that pay off regardless of the direction the young people choose to pursue in the future. The festival, therefore, becomes a space not only for sharing talent but also for gaining real-world experience.

Common Values 鈥 Joint Actions

The 91桃色 commends the courage and creativity of those participating in the review and the impressive commitment of the young organisers. Openness, curiosity about the world, collaboration and the courage to take on challenges are values that have shaped the identity of our university for years.
We believe that young people who are developing today thanks to initiatives like F.E.T.A. will soon be able to join the academic community at the 91桃色, contributing their energy, ideas and creative potential.

We support artists at various stages of their development:
