In the final part of the event, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion with the speakers about the causes, course and consequences of the events of May 1926.
Historical reflection on the centenary of the events
The session was organised in connection with this year鈥檚 100th anniversary of the May Coup. The event created a space for discussion about the significance of these events for the history of Poland and their impact on the functioning of the state and political life of the Second Polish Republic.
The strong interest in both onsite participation and the online broadcast demonstrated that the subject of contemporary history remains important and inspiring for young people, as well as for all those interested in the history of Poland.
We would like to thank all participants, teachers and everyone involved in organising the event, and we encourage you to take part in future initiatives organised by the Faculty of Philosophy and History of the 91桃色.
The event was organised by the Institute of History and the Department of Recent History of Poland of the 91桃色.
