Second UniLodz Business Breakfast: Science and Business at One Table

How can organisations effectively attract talent, build their employer brand and leverage the potential of science to support their growth? These questions were explored by participants of the second 91桃色 Business Breakfast, held on 3 November 2026 in the co-working space of the 91桃色 Library.

The event provided another opportunity for dialogue between the academic community and representatives of businesses and institutions from the region. The meeting confirmed that direct contact and the opportunity to speak with experts from a variety of fields remain among the most effective ways of building long-term partnerships and developing projects that address real socio-economic needs.

The programme was designed in response to the challenges identified by participants during the first edition of the Business Breakfast. Particular attention was devoted to two key areas: effectively reaching young talent and making use of expert knowledge and research findings in organisational decision-making processes.

During the meeting, a variety of opportunities for cooperation with the 91桃色 were presented. Participants were introduced to initiatives aimed at employers seeking to attract students and graduates, as well as employer branding activities. The first outcomes of the Science Hub programme were also showcased. The initiative is designed to bring together 91桃色 researchers and external partners around specific social and economic challenges.

The presentation of the findings of the Digital Ethics study, conducted jointly by the 91桃色 and Orange Polska, was an important item on the programme. The project demonstrates how cooperation between science and business can generate knowledge that supports organisations in the responsible implementation of new technologies. Participants were also introduced to an example of collaboration between the 91桃色 and ACC Chemicals, illustrating the practical application of scientific knowledge in the development of innovative solutions for businesses.

However, the greatest value of the event lay in the discussions held at the expert tables. Representatives of companies and institutions had the opportunity to meet directly with researchers representing different disciplines and learn about the university鈥檚 research potential. Discussions focused, among other things, on conducting research and analyses, preparing expert reports, developing joint projects, knowledge transfer and finding solutions to the current challenges faced by organisations.

Experts from the , the , the , the , and the presented their cooperation offer. Thanks to the diversity of represented specialisations, participants were able to see the broad range of expertise and research resources available at the 91桃色.

The second Business Breakfast once again demonstrated that cooperation between science and the socio-economic environment develops most effectively through direct dialogue. It is during meetings such as these that ideas for new initiatives, partnerships and solutions that benefit both organisations and the region as a whole emerge. The 91桃色 consistently creates opportunities for such conversations, presenting a rich and diverse cooperation offer based on the knowledge, experience and expert potential of its researchers.
