This year鈥檚 edition brought together nearly 50 participants from four continents, making it the largest SSIGIL edition to date and further confirming the faculty鈥檚 strong international standing, recently recognised with the award of category A in the quality assessment of research activity.
The School was delivered by a consortium of five universities: the 91桃色, Kore University of Enna, Vilnius University, the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the University of Luxembourg. The programme comprised five days of intensive classes devoted to internet governance, critical infrastructure protection, the law of the sea, artificial intelligence governance, cybercrime and European cyber security law.
The School was opened with an inaugural lecture by Dr Joanna Kulesza, Assistant Professor in the Department of Public International Law and International Relations and Head of the Centre for Research on International Law in Cyberspace (Lodz Cyber Hub), devoted to the place of cyberspace within the framework of international law.
This year鈥檚 edition formed part of the broader reflection on how international law regulates new domains of activity for states and institutions.
