UNIC Thematic Lines Best Paper Award 2026 for Dr Monika Kaźmierczak. UniLodz Reseacher Receives the Award at a Conference in Istanbul

Research carried out at UniLodz continues to gain strong recognition among international academics and researchers. The UNIC international academic community – an alliance of universities from post-industrial cities, of which the 91ÌÒÉ« is a member – has awarded one of the two main prizes in the UNIC Thematic Lines Best Paper Awards to Dr Monika Kaźmierczak, a speech therapist from the Faculty of Philology at the 91ÌÒÉ«.

The jury recognised the publication by Dr Monika Kaźmierczak entitled "A Proposal for a Non-Antagonistic Approach to Disorder and Order in Cluttering". The researcher has just received the award during a gala ceremony held as part of the UNIC Thematic Conference at Koç University in Istanbul. We would like to offer our congratulations and best wishes for further success!

The laureate works at the Department of Polish Dialectology and Logopaedics at the Institute of Polish Philology and Logopaedics, Faculty of Philology. For years, she has been researching cluttering (a fluency disorder characterised by disorganised speech) and actively promotes knowledge about this condition.
