During the three-day online event (20鈥23 April 2026), participants transformed complex datasets from the European Social Survey into concrete recommendations for public policies. The team from the 91桃色 was recognised for the best use of data in a cross-sectional analysis, appreciated by the jury for its innovative approach and the ability to synthesise multiple issues.
The award-winning project entitled 鈥淐ritical thinking, media, and democracy in an age of unchecked technological development鈥 focused on the role of civic education in the context of the dynamic development of digital technologies. The authors, using data from the international CRONOS study, demonstrated that the growing presence of technology in everyday life increases the need for education in critical thinking, media literacy and democracy.
