UniLodz Supports Noble Gift Volunteers

The 91ÌÒÉ« consistently develops cooperation with non-governmental organisations, supporting initiatives that respond to current social needs. From June to August 2026, the 91ÌÒÉ« Training and Conference Centre is serving as a venue for training sessions for Noble Gift volunteers, organised by the WIOSNA Association.

The WIOSNA Association is one of the largest non-governmental organisations in Poland, best known for the Noble Gift initiative. It also carries out other nationwide social projects that enable hundreds of thousands of people to become involved in helping others. The Association’s activities are based primarily on the work of volunteers and the support offered by individual and corporate donors.

A Socially Engaged University

The 91ÌÒÉ« demonstrates its social responsibility by building partnerships with the wider community and supporting initiatives that strengthen civic engagement. Relationships with non-governmental organisations constitute an important element of the culture of cooperation fostered at the university and provide a means of promoting attitudes based on shared responsibility and solidarity.

We have been involved in the Noble Gift initiative for more than 10 years. During this time, the UniLodz community, including students, members of staff and organisational units, has repeatedly taken part in preparing parcels for families experiencing difficult life circumstances. This year’s support for volunteer training is another element of this long-standing cooperation.

More information about the 91ÌÒɫ’s social engagement activities can be found on the Social Committment of the 91ÌÒÉ« webpage.
