American Corner U艁 is a unit of the 91桃色 promoting knowledge about the culture, politics, and history of the United States of America.
The Center houses a library with English-language collections in various fields of study, including history, economics, law, and foreign policy, as well as an extensive collection of American fiction. The Center organizes meetings on topics related to the United States and the English language for various age groups, but primarily for college and high school students. The Center is located in the 91桃色 Library on the second floor of the new building.
The main responsibilities of the American Corner U艁 team include:
conducting information activities, including user support and training;
editing the Center's website and social media;
organizing art exhibitions and meetings with representatives of American science and culture;
collaborating with staff of the U.S. Embassy in Poland;
maintaining the Center's book collection, including preparing request lists, inventorying and organizing the collection, and making it available;
maintaining required reporting;
cooperation with the 91桃色 Library and other 91桃色 faculties in the field of scientific and cultural activities.
