My research interests include:
Organisational responsibilities
I currently hold the following positions and functions:
As Deputy Head of the Interfaculty Centre for Research on Violence in the Workplace, I contribute to the planning, coordination and development of the Centre鈥檚 academic and organisational activities. I support the Head in the day-to-day management of the Centre, the implementation of its objectives, the organisation of the team鈥檚 work, and the representation of the Centre in internal and external relations.
My responsibilities include initiating and contributing to interdisciplinary research on the broadly understood phenomenon of violence in the workplace. This research focuses in particular on analysing the concept, causes, scale, forms and consequences of workplace violence, as well as assessing the effectiveness of legal and non-legal instruments aimed at preventing such conduct and protecting those exposed to it. Particular importance is attached to combining the legal perspective with the achievements of other disciplines, including psychology, sociology and management studies.
I also participate in organising conferences, seminars, debates, expert meetings and other academic initiatives devoted to violence in the world of work. My responsibilities include fostering cooperation among representatives of different academic disciplines, as well as establishing relationships with public institutions, non-governmental organisations, experts and practitioners involved in protecting individuals who experience violence in the workplace.
As part of the Centre鈥檚 activities, I analyse national and international standards for protection against violence and harassment in the world of work, with particular emphasis on the International Labour Organization鈥檚 Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190). I participate in assessing the existing legal framework, identifying gaps in the system of protection, and preparing recommendations concerning legislative and organisational reforms. An important part of my work also involves disseminating research findings and promoting knowledge of effective methods of preventing and responding to violence in the workplace.
