On behalf of our Leader for the Transfer of Knowledge, Carl Smith, we invite all interested to participate in the CodingClub, which is hosted by the Centre for Analysis, Modelling and Computational Science at the University of&苍产蝉辫;艁贸诲藕&苍产蝉辫;and intended to provide support and discussion of data analysis and R coding. Some meetings comprise formal presentations, while others are troubleshooting sessions and demonstrations and discussions of interesting statistical approaches.
If you have some problematic data that you would like to discuss, an R package or coding technique you would like to share, or a request for an explanation of a specific statistical technique, please let us know.
CodingClub is open to anyone at any level of expertise in R coding or data analysis. All are welcome to join the meeting, and you are encouraged to invite external collaborators if you think they would like to participate.
Meetings are conducted online with MSTeams in English, and they are 1-hour long and held each week on Thursdays at 16:00 CET (15:00 GMT). Professor Carl Smith will lead meetings but will receive expert assistance from Anton Bocharov, Richard Bailey and Miros艂aw Przybylski (all from the Department of Ecology and Vertebrate Zoology in&苍产蝉辫;艁贸诲藕).
We will kick off the sessions with a curious finding from a re-analysis of old data that Richard Bailey and Carl Smith have done recently.
If you wish to participate in CodingClub, email Professor Carl Smith at carl.smith(at)biol.uni.lodz.pl, and we will add you to our circulation list.
